2010年，小黄人们第一次在《神偷奶爸》中出现，到“小黄人”自己的大电影：《小黄人大眼萌》，五年时间内，这些穿着牛仔连体裤、矮胖没身段的香蕉爱好者们，成了不折不扣的网红“小黄”，小黄人——席卷全球——十亿多美元。
In just five years, these dumpy banana lovers in jumpsuit, first seen in the Despicable Me of 2010, and then the self-titled Minions sweeping the world with astonishing box office over one billion dollars, have become admitted superstars across the globe.


            

为什么大家那么爱小黄人？
Why such insane popularity?

萌，这是极易讨人喜欢的一个特质。小黄人，就是萌物的典型代表。
“Moe”, an exceedingly desirable quality, may explain everything.

小黄人们有大大的眼睛，圆圆的肚皮，扭起屁股来不输给蜡笔小新；
小黄人看什么都稀奇，很容易就满足，对女生特别温柔；
小黄人晚上哄孩子睡觉，对主人忠心耿耿，任劳任怨排除万难；
Big-eyes minions, with their round tummies, shake their butts just as funny as Crayon Shin-chan does.
They are curious about everything, easily satisfied, and so nice to girls.
Plus, they tuck kids to beds, and are as faithful as the dog to overcome any difficulty.

最重要的是，小黄人还会上街卖香蕉赚钱，
回家做家务打扫卫生，就连生气时还有很卡哇伊的紫色爆炸头。
And the most important one, they make money by selling bananas on the street, and keep the home clean.
Even when they get angry, they still have those cute purple afros.

萌萌哒，小黄人憨态可掬，傻得纯真，于是乎，
全世界的小黄人粉们便自觉地传播着这份纯蠢的爱。
lovely，We love minions for their is darling stupid acts,
but more for their innocence and sincerity.
